Polarity Therapy

The professional practice of Polarity Therapy incorporates methods including energetic bodywork, techniques for tissue and emotional release, energy balancing, and improving breath and circulation. Working from a deep understanding of the play of the elements of life and universal energy principles, the Polarity Practitioner helps facilitate changes in the way a client normally integrates experiences of habituated mental, emotional, and physical patterning, and educates clients in the means of self healing support.

Often our emotions are held in the body tissue and create dis-ease. Through the innate intelligence of cellular memory and the nervous system, the healing of injuries, psychological wounds, negative patterns, and the pain body can be restored to balance on a subconscious  and conscious level.

Developed by Dr. Randolph Stone, DC, ND, DO, -a pioneer in holistic healthcare. He held degrees in chiropractic, osteopathic, and naturopathic medicine. He studied and tested health theories from around the world, successfully combining ancient and modern theories and techniques.

WHAT IS A SESSION LIKE?

  • In a typical session the elemental patterns often reveal themselves through specific blockages that are apparent through touch. By assisting in tracking energy through   the nervous system, as well as palpating specific areas of chronic pain or discomfort,  Polarity Therapy provides simple, comprehensive methods for maintaining balance and good health. The BCPP (Board Certified Polarity Practitioner) and the client work together to address physical, mental, and emotional energy blocks in a safe, supportive environment. Common results include:

  • Stress Reduction

  • Trauma Resolution

  • Health Awareness

  • Muscle and Joint Pain Relief

Through CLOTHED BODYWORK, the client experiences tissue and emotional release and improved relaxation and balance. visit www.polaritytherapy.org for more information

CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy was developed and derived from the work of Dr. William Sutherland, DO; Doctor of Osteopathy, who discovered in the early part of the 1900's that the cranial bones could move,- and in fact did so in a rhythmic fashion. Based on Cranial Osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy seeks to restore rhythmic movement found between the bones of the skull (cranium), the spine,

and the sacrum.

The purpose of this is to aid in the circulation of the CSF, -cerebrospinal fluid. throughout the central nervous system. As Dr. Sutherland continued his researches into the inherent motions within the body, he realized he was exploring a subtle physiological system that had vast clinical applications. He believed this potency permeated all cells and tissues, and was fundamental to the proper functioning of the nervous system.Craniosacral Biodynamics appreciates the interaction of bioenergy, fluid dynamics, and the structures of the body. The Craniosacral Practitioner works simultaneously with structure and function, bones and membranes, fluid dynamics, and the ordering principle of the Breath of Life.

Polarity Yoga

Why do you exercise? so you will feel and look better, -right? The reason most people exercise is to become "fit". Most popular exercises concentrate on muscular exertion to increase blood circulation, and strengthen muscles. But there is a subtler, finer, energy principle to exercise that is missed by most exercise enthusiasts, and that is the energy connection of our vibrational life force and our physical bodies.

Although the underlying purpose and theory of the stretching postures are important and helpful, the main responses and development are generated from direct experience of the exercises.

The purpose of the stretching postures is to enable energy to flow more freely. By lining up the fields, and through the 5 elements, you balance and release the subtle energetic and emotional blocks.

The principle of Polarity Yoga exercises is a natural, life enhancing series of postures that will create energy current releases through: Posture, Stretching, Relaxation, and Breathing.
